Khagh Mountains
The Khagh Mountains are a large mountain range located in the south east of Hepsut, situated within the Arkand Wilds, and bordering the sea. The Molduhr River flows down from the Khagh Mountains, and through the valley at the centre of it.
The Khagh Mountains is under the control of the Triumvirate of Kahz Molduhr, with the settlements of Basalar, Kraverang, Noverok, as well as the capital of Kahz Molduhr, all located either within the mountain valley, on the slopes of the mountains, or within the mountains themselves. The settlements of the Triumvirate of Kahz Molduhr heavily cultivate the riches found within and beneath the Khagh Mountains, with there being a extensive network of tunnels and mineshafts situated beneath them.
The Khagh Mountains are the tallest mountains in the whole of Hepsut, it's frost-covered peaks towering on the south eastern horizon. The Khagh Mountains are incredibly dangerous to traverse, with rockslides being a common occurrence across the range. The temperature of the peaks is also also usually below freezing, and climbers all report having difficulty breathing so high up in the sky. Many who have attempted the clime did not survive.
