A large fortress that sits at the mouth of the Indara River.
It both taxes ships that travel past it and secures the river from naval threats.
Government:
The fortress is governed by a General appointed by the council of the city of Maran.
Defence:
The fortress is manned by a garrison of navy soldiers and Maran Enforcers.
Commerce:
Sigurn’s Gate collects tax from passing ships but does not produce any commerce.
Geography:
The gate is a towering fortress of stone built next to the mouth of the Indara River, with a small village built outside its walls. Near the river there is also a harbour where a small fleet of ships lies in wait if needed.
