Red Current
The Red Current is the name of the waters located within the Kuai Archipelago, though it is generally used to refer to the natural channel that passes through the Kuai Archipelago, connecting the south of Osirin to the north of Hepsut.
The Red Current is the most sailed sea on Exorsia, the location of the Red Current Trade Route between Port Nyras and Calgern Port, the most popular and busy trade network in the world, with hundreds of trading ships crossing it's waters every week, travelling between the ports of Osirin, Hepsut and the islands of the Kuai Archipelago in between.
The Red Current is also the area of operation for the Dreadpenny Fleet, a coalition of pirates who pray on the trade ships that sail the Red Current. While both the Coven of Maran and the Varin Empire have made attempts to combat the Fleet's operations, and take control over the Red Current, the Dreadpenny Fleet continue to maintain a tight grip over the sea.
The Red Current is also the location of numerous Merfolk settlements, as well as the great city of Thalassrah, a massive underwater settlement populated by all manner of underwater peoples, as well as being the location of one of Exorsia's Elemental Gates.
