Dreadpenny Fleet

The Dreadpenny Fleet is a collective of pirates that operate under one banner. They primarily operate in the Red Current between Osirin and Hepsut. The Dreadpenny Fleet are known to raid trade ships and hold people at ransom. They also trade in slaves.
The Fleet was formed in the 1800’s after conflict between pirates in the Red Current was more common than conflict with other ships. Captains from across the Kuai Archipelago came together to form a makeshift council where they would promise not to fight each other and instead work together for a share of the loot. This council rans relatively smoothly until 2073 when the council was usurped by Captain Nakida Terrel who took control over the Dreadpenny Fleet and crowned herself The Dreadpenny Queen.” She now controls the seas with an iron fist from her throne at Cutthroat Bay.
It is rumoured that the Dreadpenny Queen outlawed slavery within the Fleet because she was once a slave herself, it is also rumoured that she is part Kraken.
