Naraz'Val
Naraz'Val is a research outpost located in the north of Hepsut, and situated on the edge of the Silven Vale.
Naraz'Val is under the jurisdiction of the Coven of Maran, and is the centre for the scientific and archaeological research into the irregular magics of both the Silven Vale and the Ruins of Azare'shir. The Coven of Maran funds all the research made at Naraz'Val, with the outpost's residents either being mages, scientists, or hired help.
Naraz'Val was founded in 815 AF, and began as a small, archaeological encampment, situated near the newly unearthed ruin of an ancient settlement, who's origins were traced back to the Bronze Age, and the fall of Azare'shir. Naraz'Val is named after this ruined settlement, though the name's origin is unknown.
Government:
Naraz'Val is governed by a Minister, who is appointed by the Coven of Maran. The Minister of Naraz'Val is also the head scientist of the research done at Naraz'Val.
Defence
Naraz'Val is defended by a small garrison of Prism Mages, a specialist militia of spellcasters that answer directly to the Coven of Maran.
Naraz'Val is also known to hire mercenaries to protection and aid the local scientists during their expeditions into the Silven Vale.
Commerce
Naraz’Val has no official trade, with it importing almost all of it's resources and supplies.
Geography
Naraz’Val is situated on the southern border of the Silven Vale jungle, within a small clearing devoid of trees.

The outpost of Naraz’Val is largely comprised of one, large building complex, the Naraz’Val Research Centre, a blocky concrete building, the same sandy colour of the outer walls, with tinted windows and fortified doors. The Research Centre is located at the centre of the outpost. and contains domiciles for the local scientists, a central library, a kitchen and mess hall, as well as offices and experiment rooms.
