Silven Vale
The Silven Vale is a vast and dense jungle that takes up almost all of northern Hepsut, split only by Indara River that passes through it's western side.
The Silven Vale is permeated by strange Wild Magic, making it incredibly dangerous to traverse. The Magic has altering the environment with hostile terrain and poisonous air, as well as mutating the native creatures that live there, creating powerful monsters and vicious, hungry plants that are all to happy to feats on Mortal travelers. This magical corruption is widely believed to stem from the Ruins of Azare'shir, which lie hidden deep within the Silven Vale, a formerly ancient city that was destroyed in a magical catastrophe during the Exorsian Civil Wars. The exact location of the ruins are highly classified due to the danger associated with the place, though it lies somewhere west of Lerna Mountain and east of the Mountain of Reflection.
The settlements of Ashterpur, Naraz’Val, and Vir’mathus lie on the border of the Silven Vale, cultivating the nearby jungle from lumber and fruits, but they dare not delve too deep, as those that do rarely return unscathed, or even alive. Ullenar, a small druidic village, is an exception to this rule, as it resides within the Silven Vale itself, located somewhere in the west of the jungle, between the Indara River and the Mountain of Reflection. The population of Ullenar are dedicated to researching the abnormalities of the Silven Vale, and have been known to share research with the Coven of Maran, as well as aiding and protect travellers lost in the jungle.
