Caeranix’s Rest

Caeranix’s Rest is one of the five island-like regions of the continent of Atlan, connected to each other by the usually frozen Frigid Sea. Caeranix’s Rest is the smallest of Atlan’s regions, and is located in the north west of the continent.

Ice Dragons

Caeranix’s Rest is named after Caeranix, an ancient Ice Dragon that once claimed dominion over the region in the distant past. The area is currently inhabited by one or more of his descendants, who squabble for dominion over the land, with many of the younger Dragons being raised in different regions of Atlan, before returning to Caeranix’s Rest in an attempt to claim their ancestral home, and the lair of Vetrtönn, for themselves.
