Rangar’s Tomb
Rangar's Tomb, located in the north of the Garnshíði region of Atlan, is not a tomb, but a ring of mountains that surround a deserted region of land, a place that is completely avoided by the local Druskvar and Verker tribes, as well as reportedly the local wildlife.
Local legends from both the Druskvar and Verker tribes claim that Rangar's Tomb was once the location of an ancient Frost Giant citadel, ruled by a King Rangar. As the story goes, either the Druskvar or the Verker, both tribes claim the other is responsible, turned on their monarch, slaying them, and forever cursing the land, with the Druskvar and Verker tribes fighting over that legacy. Local rumours claim that the ancient Frost King Rangar still sits on his frozen throne, awaiting for when their worthy successor, the Druskvar Queen or the Verker King, triumph over the usurper and claim their rightful heritage.
Magical surveys of the land confirm that the area is afflicted with Undeath, but research teams that have attempted to explore the region have all vanished, never to be seen again.
