Gaiafótr

The region located in the west of Atlan is known as Gaiafótr, separated from Knífrbreið by the Ingemar River. 
The island is home to the Elnur people, indigenous humans who live in Atlan. 
It is believed that the island’s name is derived from the Giant word for foot or leg, which translates to Gaia’s Foot or Gaia’s Leg.
