Ice Dragons
Ice Dragons, sometimes called White Dragons, are the most animalistic of dragons, lacking the intelligence of other Dragons. They are a vicious species driven by a primal hunger and greed.
Ice Dragons are exceptionally strong, capable of smashing through walls of ice or breaking bones with ease.
They are also excellent hunters and survivalists, what they lack in intelligence they make up in keen senses and manoeuvrability, capable of climbing, burrowing and flying even through the harshest of weather. They can track their prey through blizzards, camouflaged in the snow before pouncing, using their brute strength to crush their prey. They can also freeze targets with their icy cold breath, leaving them vulnerable to being shattered or even eaten in a single bite.
Appearance:
Ice Dragons are hulking brutes with broad chests and short powerful limbs. Their heads have the shape of an axe or wedge, with prominent ridges of horn rising above or somewhat swept back. They are quadrupedal Dragons with large wings that rise from their backs. They have sleek light grey scales, often confused with white, with their bodies commonly adored with spikes of hardened ice and cold yellow feral eyes.Element:
Ice Dragons are associated with the element of ice which they can exhale as a deadly breath attack.Lair:
Ice Dragons make their lairs in the frigid north, tunnelling deep into arctic glaciers or icy mountains. Ice dragons love to collect anything shiny, from diamonds to coins, though due to their preference for cold climates they will settle for anything they can find from animal parts to full ships. Everything in an Ice Dragon’s lair is covered in a thick layer of ice, forcing thieves to spend hours chipping away or melting the ice to reach the Dragon’s treasure.
