Solar Dragons

Solar Dragons, sometimes called Sun Dragons, are categorised as Astral Dragons due to being adapted to unique conditions of the Astral Sea. Solar Dragons have adapted to living around suns.
They are primal hunters, lacking the intelligence of other dragons. They are extremely aggressive, though they avoid getting into fights with anything they can't eat.
Solar Dragons are exceptionally fast fliers over short distances, but they are not great combatants, preferring to make a single quick and precise attack to disable their prey. They lie in wait within the blinding light of suns, before rocketing out of at high speed to catch their prey.

Appearance:

Solar Dragons have a long serpentine body, they are wingless, with only a pair of ventral limbs at the front of their bodies, ending in long fins. They have long, fin-like spikes across their bodies of gleaming, multicoloured scales. They have glowing eyes of molten flame.

Element:

Solar Dragons are associated with the element of fire which they can exhale as a deadly breath attack.

Lair:

Solar Dragons exclusively make their lairs within the cores of stars. Because of this they are unable to amass hordes.
