World Spine Mountains

Geography and Geology

The mountain range follows most of the western coastline of Soplas and SupercontinentA, which means it is the single longest mountain range on Corive.
The mountains changed as one follows them south. In Theydim, the mountains are frosty ice peaks with treacherous passes few would brave when they must stray from the known routes.
In Tormyra, the mountains are curiously more habitable where they cradle the kingdom. Scholars have determined there are ancient spells modifying the atmosphere. The spells are a popular subject of study for mages attempting to replicate the effect elsewhere.
