Ukots System

Star system of the Saelian Coalition. Notably, the Saelian homeworld of Cela is located here.
While Cela is only the 2nd planet from the star, it remains habitable because the star is only class K, and less luminous than Sol. Cela remains cold, but habitable.
As the Ukots star is quite small, distances between the various worlds in the system is relatively small. This makes travel between them faster and easier, so at first the saelians didnt pack as much Δv into their ships as many other species, which led them to having to redesign many of their ships as they expanded.
The saelian coalition had many attempts to colonise the Ukots system shortly after achieving space travel. They initially settled on Xagriotov which had conditions closer to that of Cela than any other world. These were mostly sucessful, the saelians now having established a colony on the cold world. The atmosphere was still unbreathable, so they soon created their own. This new atmosphere would be able to support a biosphere, so life was added to the world outside of the colonies for the first time. Now, Xagriotov is home to a weak ecosystem, grass spanning almost the entire surface.
