Saelian Coalition

Star nation of the Hyperion Federation representing the Saelian species. Before they invaded Tebburus during the Unification War, they had a faction about 20 star systems strong. Their homeworld is called Cela. During their information age, Cela was almost knocked out of its orbit, but it ended up on a higher orbit. This made the planet much colder, but the Saelians had to adapt by becoming skilled bioengineers. The event was caused by a strange anomaly where Cela no longer felt the gravity from its parent star for a moment. When it was at the top of its new orbit, the planet felt a small force, keeping the planet in its higher orbit rather than just cause the world to have a very elliptical orbit. Cela also has an asteroid ring around it that is often mined by the Saelian Coalition. Originally, the Saelian Coalition was run entirely by a single massive megacorporation called Secura-Guard. Due to this, the rich were far more wealthy than the poor at the time. This has led to a number of riots and worsening relations with several external powers. However, the United Nations of Tebburus eventually started the suon-saelian war and defeated the megacorporation. As part of the treaty, the megacorporation would be disbanded, and more would not be able to form. The extremely rich and greedy saelians were killed for their greed and for attempted attacks many worlds to obtain slaves. One of these worlds was Tebburus. Due to this change, most of the people rapidly saw positive improvemets to their lives. Many laws that prevented them from being free were no longer present, and in turn, some laws preventing large organizations from being abusive were put in place. There were initailly large rebellions, but those have been reduced significantly after this slowlyl became apparent.
