Delta Antilae VII

A planet in the Delta Antilae System.   This world is a gas giant. It does, however, have a very large solid core. Delta Antilae VII has an unusually calm atmosphere. While unbreathable, this atmosphere was directed upwards while the Hyperion Federation built a megastructure around the gas giant - a giant plasma window that goes above the ground. As breathable atmosphere was placed under this window, it creates a habitable land underneath the thicker upper layers. This plasma window is held up with extremely strong towers, using partly QCD matter in its construction for the sheer compressive strength. To make sure that no metallic hydrogen from the gas giant would pass thorough the plasma layers, it was made extremely dense. However, some starships of the HF remain capable of passing through even this plasma layer to reach the surface. A day/night cycle is simulated via the structures holding the plasma window in place, a very powerful UV light travelling across a large track in the sky.   Due to the upper atmosphere being green, the world has a green sky. This still applies at night because of the light emitted by the plasma windows themselves, though this is far more dim than the makeshift sun. The night sky is not visible on this planet. Also, the thick atmosphere effectively contains the heat emitted by the sun and lifeforms on the planet, so QEN machines constantly operate to redirect heat to space.   Delta Antilae VII also has 52 moons. None of these are habitable because of the very large distance from the sun, and being too far from the gas giants makeshift sun to get any meaningful warmth. These moons have tidal impacts, though these are far less significant because of their radius.   The extremely dense atmospheric layers above the habitation area blocks all but a very advanced and focused sensor. It also disintegrates all munitions fired from orbit before they can deal any damage to the colony and prevents most enemy craft from entering the habitation area. This also means that the HF can make it very secret, so the world is sometimes used as a military blacksite.

Radius of atmosphere: 7x10^7 m Radius of Solid Layer: 3x10^7 m. (This assumes that the force of gravity (as opposed to pressure) decreases linearly as one passes deeper into the gas giant. It is calculated to have a surface gravity similar to Earth at the solid surface.) Numbers based off values comparable to Jupiter, with a surface gravitation of 2.5g.
