Dogenov

Large gas giant located in the Tiact System. It is notable for being the largest celestial body in the system other than the star itself. It also has a large amount of worlds orbiting it - 26.
The world has a large orbital radius, though, and as a result very cold. It is the 6th planet from the star.
This hasn't stopped mining organizations from setting up shop on these various unexploited worlds to harvest the many resources.   However, Dogenov was eventually ignited and turned into a very small star. This warmed up several of its orbiting worlds enough to be habitable, and they have since been inhabited. Dogenov is also being star lifted using modified versions of the same gas giant collecting stations used on ordinary gas giants.   Although the Dogenov system (the name given to Dogenov and its moons after being lit) is still much smaller than the Tiact System, it still has a significant population. The Dogenov system also has no lava planets as Dogenov is not hot enough for that.
All of these planets are also still being mined, though all the mining structures had to be modified to withstand a higher temperature environment.   Now Dogenov has a large ring-like megastructure around it. This was built to sustain the miniature sun and allow it to fuse. The megastructure is also meant to closely monitor the star, allowing them to predict when it may emit solar flares or some equivalent thereof before they happen and allow people to prepare. The megastructure might also be able to prevent some types of space weather caused by Dogenov. The megastructure also inhabits a small number of people, mostly workers on the ring world itself. There are a number of memorials of the Suon-Saelian War on the exterior of the station and on most of the planets that orbit Dogenov as well. However, the exterior is very hot because it orbits Dogenov at a very short radius. In fact, it harvests energy from the star and uses some of it to maintain its velocity - as the Dogenovan atmosphere slows it down slightly over time. By supplying a small amount of hydrogen to the star, its mass can remain relatively constant and it will be able to fuse for a much longer period of time.    During the suon-saelian war, Doogenov was highly sought over for the 26 worlds orbiting it. The saelins have managed to establish a number of ambush points until the United Nations of Tebburus sent a large number of drones in an extremely high Dogenov orbit. This could provide intel on all points within the planetary system at virtually all times, giving them a huge advantage. The suons attacked the several most weakly defended planets first before attacking Dogenov itself - as that would expose them to being flanked. This would allow them to set up a foothold in the system.
