Tiotus
Warm gas giant in the Tiact System. The fourth world from the system star, the world has 7 moons. Due to this, Tiotus and its moons were one of the first places fought over during the Suon - Saelian war. Both sides saw a huge potential in resources. The gas giant is also close to the goldilocks zone where life can live. Although it is still slightly hot, hopeful engineers suggest that 7 different colonies could be set up here with minor adjustments to the atmospheres of the moons.
Despite its huge surface gravitation, life has been observed inside the gas giant. This discovery didn't happen until well after the Suon - Saelian war, but no sentient life developed on the world. Anything larger than a grain of sand would immediately break up in the harsh conditions. The atmosphere has a high carbon content.
Due to this, Tiotus is quite valuable for science. It is still extracted using large gas collection stations in orbit to harness the potentially massive hydrogen source of the gas giant. These operations are resricted however, the Hyperion Science Association declaring the world of scientific value. Due to its heat, Tiotus takes up a fairly large volume or low density. This makes it appear larger than it really is. Another feature of the gas giant is the many storms. There are a total of 16 large storms that hav ebeen present since the suon unification war and continue to ravage the skies to this day. Some of these storms can cause various biomes to form as some species are killed and others survive. Also, as the winds of the planet constantly cause these biomes to drift, the various ecosystems of the planet can constantly shift.
