Haxis
Planet in the Tiact System.
Haxis is a very hot world, made extremely hot by its thick atmosphere and close distance to its star.
Haxis is also in a binary system along with Lazolla. Although Haxis is far less habitable than its binary system twin, it still has an abundance of metallic resources. Sometimes even the atmosphere might contain traces of valuable gases or even liquid metal vapor. This makes Haxis a valauble planet where it is easy to refine metal ore into usable metals because the surface temperature is already almost enough to reach several metals melting points.
However, tectonic events are also common. Anyone setting to mine here must be wary of the various hazards of the planet, even at the poles. The atmosphere is thick enough to prevent any sight from reaching more than 3 m away.
A long time after the suon-Saelian war, the United Nations of Tebburus set up a space elevator on the world. This makes it very easy to resupply the mines with food, fuel, ect. and also to provide mined metal goods to space. There is a logistical network that spans the entire planet that is centered around the space elevator.
