Rho Tasralais Data Hive
A large data center-like structure located in the Rho Tasralas System, on Dyson Sphere Alpha of the Hyperion Federation.
Located quite far away from the Alpha Data Center U-95, this data center differs significantly from the aforementioned one as it was designed primarily as a Data Fae hive. This also has very strong walls and several redundant sections, as well as several sources of information for data fae to feed on. This huge structure holds a population of several billion fae, and a few million organics of non-computerized species. These communities will very often communicate to each other, and the physical organisms can help sustain the fae with their own memories, by telling them stories or facts. To prevent Fae Headspace, there are many facilities available to one in case a fae attempts to enter their brain.
The data hive is well protected from incursions from both the outside and inside. If a large amount of fae manage to escape, it can be dangerous. They are allowed out of course as tourists, but will never be allowed out in a mass incursion. Similarly, the interior of the data hive is protected from enemy attack, so the data center also resembles a fortress. Armed with a huge variety of anti ground and anti air weapons, it is not as effective at countering subterrenes because they risk drilling through the bottom layer of the Dyson Sphere and falling into the sun.
This data hive is the largest present on the Dyson sphere, as well as the largest within a radius of about 16 ly. Many fae here have volunteered to participate in the war effort, damaging enemy electronics via transmission. They have prevented a number of attacks on HF star systems from multiple factions such as the HEX Mainframe, Xalarin Council, Cypher Dominion and, to less effectiveness, the Grand Artanat Empire (they are less reliant on technology). These individuals are often awarded with medals or similar recognition for service. There has been one incident where a number of data fae did escape the data hive and cause damage to the Hyperion Federation (they thought it was funny) but they managed to gather than back into the data hive eventually.
