Alpha Canarai B IV

The habitable planet in the Alpha Canarai System, which is owned by the Hyperion Federation.
The Alpha Canarai system was one of the first fought during the suon-saelian war. This planet was one of the highest value targets, if not the highest value target, in the whole system due to its significant population of almost 300 million Saelians at the time. The population is much larger now and consists of many different species.
Alpha Canarai B IV is significant for being rich in valuable metal ores as well, such as gold, platinum, iridium, ect. Millions of both Suons and Saelians were killed for control of the planet, and the United Nations of Tebburus focused on it effectively during the attacks. Due to this, the world has a culture of remembering those who have fallen for the planet. There are a number of war memorials and museums around the planet in every continent. Many who live on the world like to sometimes play various war games with friends or family as well, so the culture here is slightly more directly militant. This planet is also now home to a large defence fleet, as well as multiple War-Engineers. It is one of the official locations where actual War - Engineer Games for promotion happen. Many also practice here on this planet due to the slightly more militant culture of the world.
Although the Saelians have defended the world surprisingly effectively, with a large number of defending fleets. The world is also slightly larger than most habitable planets of its class. This results in a higher natural gravity, so the Saelian Coalition had to place Graviton Wave Refraction machines on it to reduce it to normal levels.
