Pakkahad CXVII
A planet in the Pakkahad System.
This is the 117th planet form the star. As such, it is cold despite the parent star being an extremely massive class O star.
The surface temperature is typically just under 0C. There is a lot of ice on the world, and the planet has little atmosphere.
The surface is filled with craters from asteroid impacts because they do not burn up in the non existant atmosphere.
However, it is not entirely empty. It is often mined by the Hyperion Federation for the vast quantities of ice, which is disassembled into oxygen and hydrogen atoms and used as matter plasma.
The planet has a singular, large moon that is tidally locked with the planet. There is little else on the planet of interest.
