Janraklan Volcano
A volcano located on the planet of Pakkahad XXVII.
Pakkahax XXVII is inhabited largely by Fire Suons. Life has been seded on the world in a similar way as Lazolla.
The Janraklan Volcano is unique in that there is a small town of fire suons living inside it. The town is extremely difficult to detect from orbit or on land as the heat of the magma hides the energy signatures very effectively. However, fire suons still cannot survive direct contact with lava. To solve this issue, geologists constantly monitor the volcano, making sure that the active volcano does not erupt. If it does, the people are sent 'indoors' and the town is sent into lockdown. They emerge again when it is safe which often takes a long time to happen as at this point the sides of the volcano are still covered in magma.
The very hot magma is mined for resources. As the material is already liquid, it makes mining in it easy. Additionally, it is already molten down so refining it becomes significantly easier. The refined metal is then used as matter plasma for Replicators.
This magma is highly valuable because traces of most elements can be found in it. This includes otherwise rare metals such as iridium and gold.
The PotS has attempted to destroy the colony from the inside using the magma, but was unsucessful each time.
