Travel Distances

Travel across the world will be handled through the use of a hex map on which each hex represents 6 miles.

Average travel pace is shown in the following table, though weather and difficult terrain can affect travel speed.
Pace Distance Travelled per Day Effect
Fast 30 miles (5 hexes) -5 to passive Wisdom (Perception) scores
Normal 24 miles (4 hexes) None
Slow 18 miles (3 hexes) Able to use Stealth
For travel distances between settlements, click on the Expand Table button below the settlement name to expand the table. Note that all distances are approximate and via the shortest possible routes, which might not always be practical. Where a travel distance is not shown there is no connecting route possible (e.g. there is no road or waterway that links the places).
