Cobaeus
Galaxy that is occupied by the HEX Mainframe. After fighting all the organics living in it and assimilating them, the HM started exploiting it for resources.
Upon obtaining intergalactic wormhole technology, the HM quickly found another galaxy with no presence of strong intergalactic factions. Having a significantly higher military mass, the HM launched attacks. They could afford to invade this galaxy rapidly as they already had an entire other galaxy. Although they suffered heavy losses in the invasions, Cyseus would eventually suffer a fate similar to Vloneest, where every sentient being is either killed or assimilated. This happens because they could not escape the galaxy.
Upon realising what the HM has done to the inhabitants of Cyseus, the Hyperion Federation decided to closely monitor HM activity across various galaxies. The HF would not realise it, but the HM grew to more galaxies nearby and assimlated them, making the HM a powerful threat to the nearby intergalactic factions.
Currently, Cobaeus is a galaxy filled with Dyson Spheres; almost every star has one. Due to pollution, there is also no life in the galaxy other than sentient life who are kept alive via cybernetic implants. All people that the HM assimilate lose their ability to reproduce naturally, so they are cloned in vats.
The HM found only 1 archaeotech artifact in the galaxy, but it has no idea what it does or what its purpose was. They found it buried in the core of a star.

(The artifact is a small, unessential and utterly destroyed component of a scattershape engine. The HF is unaware of this artifacts existance.)
