Vars 12V System
Star system best known for the Rih’kiel Remnant home planet of Raria. Raria is the 3rd planet from the star.
Vars 12V is a class F star that appears white. It emits more light than most stars, which only caused Raria to become hotter. The system also has a large number of stations which the rih'kiel inhabited after the calamity and before the discovery of the Hyperion Federation. Although many remained operational through this time period, some failed. These are left in orbit by the HF for historical and cultural reasons.
Also, every Dimension Vault that exists is located within the Vars 12V system, all in various orbits. These are still under scientific investigation, but very little has been figured out so far. the many Spatial Rifts nearby can make access to the system relatively dangerous and hard to reach via starship. The HF usually makes use of Teleporters to travel to and from the system, but starships can enter the system. They must be careful to avoid the rifts. This does make the system more defendable though, as enemy ships must also be careful thus reducing the number of ships that can be sent to the system simultaneously. This can create a bottleneck. Also, it reduces the number of directions which the enemy can arrive in as well.
