Alpha Tronolol II

A planet in the Alpha Tronolol System.   This planet is a large gas giant. It is the largest world in the system by mass, though it is extremely cold because its parent star is a white dwarf.   As such, Alpha Tronolol II has very few storms, and its normal winds are very weak. The gas travels in the same direction as the planets rotation. This causes it to almost sit still. As a result, the gas giant is almost entirely featureless other than those present in most gas giants. It has a ring of asteroids that are comonly mined for various kinds of resources though. The gas giant is also being extracted because it has been seen as safe for the Hyperion Federation to extract here.   These types of gas giants are quire rare, so studies are also sometimes launhed on or within it. These are done for the extremely low temperature but high presure conditions which would arise in the lower layers of such a gas giant. Because of its very featureless nature, it is extremely consistent and it has been deemed safe enough to send people into it, provided they would not be crushed in the extreme gravity. This can be done by reflecting gravitational waves around the person or any station they are placed on. By using QEN technologies, they can also remain warm. This has also led to an extremely small increase in the gas giants temperature, but the extremely small size of people compared to the gas giant means that its temperature hasnt increased by any meaningful margin. The extremely still nature of the planet also means that gas can be extracted very easily, especially since temperature is not an important facctor which prevents gas harvesting. The HF has managed to obtain a large amount of matter plasma as light elements, which can be fused into heavier elements via transmutation reactors. These are also used to power the stations, alongside the typical antimatter reactors that are normally used.
