The once great homeworld of the Rih’kiel Remnant. After the Calamity though, the world has been reduced to little more than a desolate wreckage ball of superheated slag, scarred by millions of antimatter weapons.
The world remains as a symbol of the dangers of advancing technology too far. The Calamity was arguably caused by technological advancements. The Hyperion Ethics Committee was set up to prevent similar disasters from happening in the future. Rumors of extremely advanced and powerful ancient technologies meant that the dangers did not stop every scavenger however. Very rarely, some people teleport to the planet - it is well known that QEN machines do not function on Raria, for unknown reasons. It is commonly thought that it is caused by an exotic field not seen on other planets, perhaps emitted by some ancient Rih'kiel Prime technology... Legend tells of one particular weapon that is stuck in a stone. The weapon was passed down through the leaders of Rih'kiel Prime and its wielder is said to be able to eliminate any evil. Parties that come here must find other ways to dissipate heat. It is hot enough that even the HF has immense trouble keeping people cool enough to survive on Raria. The technologies would be exceptionally difficult to find among all the wreckages and searing slag. It is also less valuable than archaeotech but is possibly available in much larger quantities. It may be here that the information required to repair Rih'kiel DNA can be found. Before its collapse, Raria was a large continental world. Some animal life had some exotic biology that inspired the rih'kiel to engineer themselves with the abilities. These animal's abilities were not as powerful as the current or ancient Rih'kiel however, due to the inefficiencies of evolution. Raria is also central to many traditions, most of which involve the modern rih'kiel. Many of these are to remember what has probably happened in the past, to prevent a similar thing from ever happening again.
