Bay of Listuron (Lis-tuh-ron)
The Bay of Listuron is a large bay off the western coast of Zalas situated between it and the island of Tilas. It is said to be the jewel of all Alari's creation in that it is the most beautiful of all the bodies of water. It's known to fluctuate between an emerald green color and a sky blue color most days with sailors believing it shifts with the mood of Ularsil. Its water is generally calm with large storms relatively rare and natural disasters even rarer. Also, the bay is known for its abundance of fish and game with crab, lobster, tuna, and salmon all very common.
History
The bay is said to have been the last of the great bodies of water of the world to have been created by Alari and is said to be the jewel in her creation. Its been heavily explored and mapped due to its location to two of the worlds greatest naval powers in the Listuroni Sultanate and Tangir Sultanate. It is said to have been Ularsil's first choice to be the home of his kingdom but that idea was rejected by Tarsen after seeing how his wife loved the bay.
