Tarsen (Tar-sin)
(a.k.a. The Father, The Messenger, The One who knows)
Tarsen otherwise known as the Father, or the Messenger is said to be the oldest of the gods in the world. He is the god of the Heavens, Stars, Sky, and Messages. He is said to have created his wife Alari to rule the world together with peace and wisdom. Together they created the other gods as their children. He represents knowledge and the pursuit of it along with portents and signs. He appears as an elderly man with a walking stick usually with a sack of scrolls on his back. He brings the messages of the world and the gods and thus is considered to be neutral amongst conflicts of the gods. He is mainly worshipped among the people of the Free Cities , but is also worshipped strongly in the Listuroni Sultanate and the Tangir Sultanate. He is also generally worshipped all over the world as a secondary deity. He is said to know all things and be able to see into the future with his signs and portents thus making him strongly worshipped and prayed to amongst those who wish to know their fate. Rarely though is he said to take a side in the affairs of mortals as he is said to offer to knowledge for all who would seek it. The one caveat for those who seek knowledge from him is that he usually requires you prove to have the wisdom to use the knowledge he gives in the right manner. He is strongly associated with science, philosophers, and those who would seek out higher knowledge.
