Ibris (Eye-briss)
(a.k.a. The Merchant, The Wanderer, The Tradesman)
Ibris, otherwise known as the Merchant or the Wanderer, is the eldest of the children of Alari and Tarsen. He is the god of commerce, trade, business and transportation. Scholars believe him to be the brother of Iasis and is known to be joyous and boisterous in spirit as opposed to his more serious sister. He is said to always be making deals and trades and is strongly associated with merchants and tradesmen. He is most strongly worshipped in the Tangir Sultanate but is also strongly worshipped in the Listuroni Sultanate and the Free Cities, but he can be found to be worshipped all over the world. He appears as a merchant usually traveling with a donkey carrying his goods. He is said to be wisest amongst the younger gods and that is why he came to be the god of commerce as it affords him the most influence. He is said to love making deals especially if they are favorable to him although some say he does it just for the sake of making deals and what he gets out of it is pure enjoyment.
