Bay of Lusewater (Loose-water)
The Bay of Lusewater is a large saltwater bay mostly off the eastern coast of the continent of Zalas and just south of the peninsula along the continents northeastern tip. The waters of the bay are known to mostly be deep blue in color and are known to very extremely calm in nature which is how it came to get its nickname of the Silent Bay. The bay is known for its abundance of ship traffic through its waters due to several major trade routes that run through the region and is also known for its abundance of wildlife that inhabit it.
History
The bay is thought by many scholars and historians to have been created by the goddess Alari somewhere in the middle of her creation of the great bodies of water of the world of Zalastor. It has been heavily mapped and explored first by the peoples of the Abasid Caliphate and then further by the peoples of the Free Cities. The area has long been home to several major trade routes and thus has experienced heavy ship traffic for much of its history.
