Beardenheim
The giants and dwarves and men in the east grew their greatest manes from their chins, an adornment of carefree strength and sturdy wisdom, and so Êl and Angolon called their kingdom of mountains and flatlands Beardenheim.Beardenheim is home to the mortals of the realm, the Giants, Dwarves and Humans in Jotunheim, Nidavellir and Midgard. While each of the three Kingdoms within Beardenheim is independent and none answers to the other, the humans in Midgard, perhaps due to their shorter lifespans, get a lot done and function as the unofficial heads of the region in the outreach to other regions. Magic is much less seen and known in these lands than with the elves and immortals - in fact, mortals consider certain feats and superstitious rituals to be nothing more than talents, but are indeed born of a latent and forgotten magic. Beardenheim, or at least the southern two kingdoms, are trade and craft focused, while Jotunheim is a frozen and isolated kingdom long cut off from the lower Realm.
