Green Dwarf Species in The Realm of Beardsgaard | World Anvil

Green Dwarf

Green Dwarves need stone underfoot and like it overhead, but for their part, they much prefer a nice cozy cave lined with moss in the deep green mountains of Vanaheim. Some have been known to live in the forests of Alfheim, or as far as Midgard, and some have hewn closer to their Dwarven roots and brought their magic back to Nidavellir.   They often live simply off the land, crafting magic items, healing travelers, distilling some wicked spirits, and generally living life off the grid. On occasion you will find Green Dwarves in settlements, but it's usually just passing through.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Green Dwarf age stages take after whichever culture they are raised in, but all things being equal, they lean toward their Dwarven side in this regard. They reach full size around 15 years of age, but are still considered in their youth until the age of 50, at 150 they are usually done with their procreation years, and are considered an elder at 250 years old and beyond.
Legacy Beings take on traits of each of their parent species. A single Vanir far back in a long line of Dwarves will make for a present day Green Dwarf with mostly Dwarven characteristics.   Choose which of your parent species you take after more, then take the Stats and Prime Traits of that parent species, and the Legacy Trait of the other parent species.
