Stout Elf Species in The Realm of Beardsgaard | World Anvil

Stout Elf

The most beautiful of the dwarves by a forest mile, the craft of these elven dwarves is among the finest seen in all the Realm, usually imbued with magic. Metalcraft is some of their most impressive, but their work with stone, mead, wine and ale is renowned as well.   They are found mostly in Alfheim, well respected there and life is rather fine, but some make their homes in Nidavellir and Midgard as well. What those kingdoms lack in refinement, they make up for in pay and admiration from the lesser mortals.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Stout Elf age stages take after whichever culture they are raised in, but all things being equal, they lean toward their dwarven side in this regard. They reach full size around 15 years of age, but are still considered in their youth until the age of 50, at 150 they are usually done with their procreation years, and are considered an elder at 500 years old, reaching an average of 1000 years of age.
Legacy Beings take on traits of each of their parent species. A single Day Elf far back in a long line of Dwarves will make for a present day Stout Elf with mostly Dwarven characteristics.   Choose which of your parent species you take after more, then take the Stats and Prime Traits of that parent species, and the Legacy Trait of the other parent species.
