Wood Giant Species in The Realm of Beardsgaard | World Anvil

Wood Giant

Wood Giants live in the cool and temperate magical regions of the Realm, shy protectors of the forests, and friends to the animals that live there. When they live in settlements, it is most often with their own kind, or living solitary woodland lives. Although they are half Giant, you will find almost none living in Jotunheim, the land of the giants is far too cold.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Wood Giant age stages take after whichever culture they are raised in, but all things being equal, they lean toward their Giant side in this regard. They reach full size around 15 years of age, but are still considered in their youth until the age of 50, at 250 they are usually done with their procreation years, and are considered an elder at 500 years old, reaching an average of 1000 years of age.
Legacy Beings take on traits of each of their parent species. A single Day Elf far back in a long line of Giants will make for a present day Wood Giant with mostly Giant characteristics.   Choose which of your parent species you take after more, then take the Stats and Prime Traits of that parent species, and the Legacy Trait of the other parent species.
