Manegard
The elves, their faces smooth by nature and resplendent all in their flowing manes of sun and moon and darkling starlight dwelled in the still nameless deep western forest of the realm. The pair beheld their majesty, as if adorned in the finery of the earth’s most beautiful things, and named their kingdom Manegaard.Manegard is home to the elves of the realm, the Day, Night and Vanir old gods in Alfheim, Svartalfheim and Vanaheim. While each of the three Kingdoms within Manegard is independent and none answers to the other, the Day Elves in Alfheim are the face of the region to the rest of the realm, but the real power among the elves is in Vanaheim. Magic is deep here, a part of daily life. While Alfheim is very focused on trade, travel and agriculture, the northern kingdoms are far more dedicated to magic and the land generally, with few cities, and many inhabitants that move through the world in a form other than humanoid.
