The Tip of the Leaf

The Tip of the Leaf is the northern most point of the Veritian Leaf. It is known for being the arrival point of the Lesser Races onto the Veritian Leaf and the current homeland of the Church of Veritas' faithful. It stretches from the tip of the continental leaf down to the borders of both the Eastern and Western Fey Wilds, a portion of the valley region's mountain range, and the first row of minor veins of the leaf. It is a densely populated region as several great rivers flow of the edge here, as well as has ample sunlight and only one needed defensible border to the south for the majority of its history. The greatest nuisance in the region is the occasional herd of hungry starflies coming to eat everything up. This was a constant threat until 1043, when the invention of black powder reached these lands and the Veritians were able to make cannon to scare the bugs off.
