The Pelorian Convent
The Pelorian Convent is a monastery built north of Given. It is one of the Pelorian Revival's most well known monastery, receiving pilgrims from the faith quite regularly and being a hub of spiritual knowledge. The Bloodmist of 1040 changed that though. Now cut off from the rest of the world, the pelorian monks here may too fall to the corruption of a gods blood.
Purpose / Function
It was built as a retreat center for those seeking a more aesthetic life. It grew when the Pelorian Revival began sending missions to the region, and when Mount Trephis became too touristy. With the popularity came architectural improvements until it rivaled the most prestigious monasteries of Devout.
