Father Ambert

Father Ambert was the pastor of the Pelorian Revival of Crossroads in Tumult from the years 1028 to 1040. He resided over the city during the Demon Troubles that brought that town so much turmoil. But more importantly he was there for the Resurrection of Gloranna. One day, a group of adventurers escorting a Dormant prisoner and turncoat to Felicity as a witness to the Dormant threat lost their charge Gloranna to an Uzite trap. The party brought her body to the Pelorian Revival where they hoped to resurrect her. While Father Ambert has only seen a few resurrections in his life, he was not hopeful for the success of this venture. But it was in his nature to help.
The group called upon any and all powerful entities they knew. They called upon Gloranna's warlock patron, the Archfey Titania, the ancient green dragon Balmerrait, Pelor, and Neih itself. The miracle was that they answered and Gloranna was revived. Father Ambert was then able to witness a vision of his god Pelor, and was at wonder. Then Neih spoke. Neih dislikes entities imposing their authority in his realm, and thus lashed out at that insolence. Balmerrait hid after Titania was injured. Pelor tried to reason with Neih, and with a swipe his hand was cut and he fled the realm. Neih warned of relying on false deities and left fuming. 
Father Ambert was shocked by this vision, and when the next day three red meteors hit in the north causing the leaf to shake, he knew something celestial was up. He packed up his things and travelled to Devout to find the High Priest of the Pelorian Revival to inquire on what was going on. Not being able to contact the church leadership with the interference of the Mineosian Crusade, he then decided to travel to the Pelorian Monastery near meteor crash-site to investigate. He remained there during the events of the Bloodmist.
