Early Settling of Marrish and the Islands (2500-3100)

The Epic of Mar is a tale of how the prosecuted marrish people fled the tresbort lakes region. It is the founding myth of the marrish people. In reality there was a flood of people bound for Marrish due to a prominet explorers fanciful tales of a rich land where gems grew on trees.
The Eral islands remained a relatively unsettled, but a a backwater for discontented Yenari ner do wells.

The domestication of the bread wisp and the Flourishing of Marrish (3100-3800)

with the domestication of the Bread wisp the population of Marrish gains a very steady food supply and with the natural birth control of Menthum Marrish begins a 1300 day period of stability and flourishing. The arts and culture flourish in this time.

The independence of the Eral Islands and the dependence on the bread wisp (3800-4200)

with the Cradari Empire forming and the Wenish empire expanding its influence out of the Grah Sea the cities of the Eral islands band together in a loose alliance.
The Islands also embrace the bread wisp, and begin heavily exporting it from Marrish, this creates a huge population boom as well as a dependence on Marrish due to the fact the the wisp can not survive on the islands.
While the islands are united from outside threats, they are still very independent and have lots of internal conflict.

The United Eral Island (4200-4417)

 The Eral islands slowly become less independent and the council gains more control over the cities. With the establishment of the Lak Traygers the islands are early adopters of gonnes and kannons on there ships and this gives them added power.
During this time their are many small conflict with the Cradri Empire of the islands and the northern Din Yurk Coast. None of them significantly change the political make up of the region.

Last 100 days (4417-4517)

Conquering of most of Marrish and southern Eral Islands revolt from the council (4422-4445) this threatens Eral islands food supply and is a huge threat War with Eral islands over greater Marrish. They retake much of central marrish but the cradri empire still controls southern Marrish (4470-4500)
