Ved Clouds

Microscopic organisms that live in the clouds. They fill their internal bladder with hydrogen to gain buoyancy and they use a long filamentous protrusion to catch the air and stay aloft. They live in the clouds and photosynthesize on the sunlight. If they ever get blown away from the clouds they can survive the desiccation and float on their internal bladder until they reach another humid cloud and rehydrate. These organisms are so plentiful in the clouds that many of the clouds have a green tint to them.
