Eathic Alphabet

The ancient written script of the Tern Tribes. The script was generally used to write messages on a Urn Stone which was then left at an OrKum shrine for travellers to read.   The practice of leaving Urn Stones is still used today and the Eathic script is still in use, because it can be quickly written in soft clay. However, while the script is the same, the modern language of the Tern Bas has changed from the early Tern Tribes.

Eathic Sad Word by Cory Brooke-deBock
The most notable feature of the sentence structure is that the placement of characters vertically can indicate the tone of a sentence. For example, certain characters can take up less space if written slightly above or below the line of text. If those characters are written slightly above the line of text it indicates increased emotion and passion. If the characters are written below the line it indicates sadness, quietness, and submissiveness. If the characters are written above and below the line it indicates confusion and sarcasm. The degree to which they are written above and below the line indicates the degree to which the feeling are present in the sentence.
