Meldon Plain
Sikíronian : Meldon /mɛːltɔːn/
The Meldon Plain1 covers a huge area in central Adynía, bordering Central Sea and Gold Sea to the east, Nemirkía to the south, Núrak and Silver Sea to the west, Záal to the northwest, the Darka Mountains to the north and Gráhúlysía to the northeast.
It's a home to numerous ethnic groups, some native to the region, others originating from the lands north of the plain.

Geography
Being a prairie, the region is notably flat and has often been likened to a sea of grass. The northern part around Kir -the only major river on the plain- and the eastern coastal regions are exceptionally fertile and serve as the breadbasket of the Sikíron Empire, the rest of the plain is mostly used for raising livestock, except for the southwestern part. The latter has historically been ignored due to its poor soil, and the only people living there are the Narsians, nomadic half-orcish tribes who mostly keep to themselves.
