Hakra is a city in the Góalanic Federation, located at the Bórúm River delta in northwestern Góalanis. It's an important center of commerce for the Góalanic Orcs, and traditionally associated with the sun god Koní among the native Góalanics, who still refer to it as the City of the Sun.

Government
The city is ruled by the chief (rúk) of the Úlrog tribe, one of the nine tribes that make up the federation.
Defences
Hakra's distinct feature are its ancient walls and towers which form a near-perfect circle, once a part of its citadel, but now define the city limits.
History
Originally built by góalanics during bronze age, the city (then known as Arikría) remained an important center of trade between Góalanis, Azókan Islands and Nemirkía until it was conquered by armies of the Paþarían Empire, at which point it became the capital of the colony Velaþría.
During the orcish invasions, Hakra was initially conquered and ruled by the Hargúls, who were later ousted by a rival tribe, the Úlrog, with the former eventually settling in the Azókan Islands.
Tirúlíon -one of the paþarían successor states- attempted several times to regain the city, as did early emperors of the Sikíron Empire, though the latter have since all but given up on that due increased focus on territorial disputes with the Kingdom of Núrak.

Architecture
As in most cities in the Góalanic Federation, the majority of Hakra's old structures have been replaced with farmsteads built in similar style as the ones in Úrún to the north beyond Central Sea. The chief's manor and longhouses of nobles are a notable exception, as they incorporate the local tradition of using alternating rows of dark and light coloured stone.
One of the few original buildings still standing (although in rough shape) is the temple of Koní, patron deity of the city, whom the local góalanic orcs have added into their pantheon.
