Taþyrin
Marissian: Taþyrin
Taþyrin is one of the main rivers of southern Adynía and forms the traditional eastern boundaries of Marissía and marissían civilization in general, beyond which lies the vast wilderness of Efergen. It originates in the eastern Sjorgús Mountains, whence it meanders south and southwest, first through Efergen and later on the border between it and Marissía until it finally empties into Silver Sea via Myrlan Bay.

Geography
Three distinct groups make their home along the river: in the Sjorgús Mountains are Gartaraz-dwarves -specifically the Púrtevaz and Nirtevaz Gar tribes- by the western bank and Dúnaraz-dwarves, specifically jókals and kvósans on the eastern one, and Marissíans along the west bank on the lowlands.
A number of settlements are located by the lower Taþyrin, most notably Sjarehín and Barandin.
