Aróvehal-ei-Kapor is capital of the Kingdom of Marissía in southern Adynía, located at the northwestern part of the country where the river Níaþan where it drains into Kapor Lake. While most people simply refer to the city as Aróvehal, the full name is often used to avoid confusing it with the numerous towns and villages sharing the same name.

Demographics
Most of the inhabitants are native Marissíans, along with distinct communities of Þataleans from Húris and especially Zirdinóans, the former making up a significant part of the city guards while the latter are more concerned with hunting fish and fowl in the lake. A few Paheiríen-Elves hailing from the Sjorgús Mountains to the north live there as well, and Aróvehal-ei-Kapor was once home to a number of Larúneans from Larúnas to the west.
Since the region's destruction, the latter group has all but disappeared, either due to the larúneans moving to the Kingdom of Núrak or adopting the native culture entirely.

Industry & Trade
The city is a center of textile production, woodworking, papyrus-making and particularly pottery in the region, the latter often being shaped like native fish, ducks and geese.
Architecture
Reed huts are common along the city outskirts, particularly near the shore, while other structures are mostly made of wood and clay with thatched roofs. Only the palace and manors feature significant amounts of stone, mostly for foundations but marble and other colourful stones are also used to adorn the floors.
