Sikíronian
Sikíronian1 is the most widespread language within the Sikíron Empire in central Adynía, and is especially prominent in towns and cities, in the army and courts. It's derived from a dialect used by Nemirkíans in eastern Nemirkía and the Kóteran Peninsula, itself a variation of paþarían tongue spoken during the old Paþarían Empire.
Writing System
It's written using an alphabet which -like other nemirkían alphabets- is a modified paþarían script.
Geographical Distribution
Sikíronian is especially prominent in Nemirkía, northern and eastern Meldon Plain and Kóteran Peninsula, and to lesser extend on the Azókan Islands and southwestern Meldon Plain.
Vocabulary
Sikíronian vocabulary is largely derived from paþarían or other nemirkían languages, though it also contains quite a few words borrowed from góalanic tongue, mostly used by scholars and especially those involved in the arcane arts.
