Zirdinóin
Zirdinóin (meaning land of the dragonflies) is a swampland in southern Adynía, the largest of its kind in the world, between the Sjorgús Mountains to the north and Marissía to the south.
Although it's rich in fish and fowl (as well as giant amphibians), the difficult terrain and seasonal mist make this region relatively isolated and sparsely populated, mostly inhabited by native Zirdinóans around the lake Gyrían to the north and Marissíans along the river Níaþan at the southern border.
Merchants from Larúnas used to travel along a road through the westernmost part of Zirdinóin on their way to and from Marissía long ago, but ever since Larúnas was destroyed by Dragons, the swamp's edge has often served as a hideout for outlaws from the surrounding regions.
