Áal
Áal is a region located in the northwestern corner of the Adynían continent, bordered by Záal to the south, Silver Sea to the west and north, and the Darka Mountains foothills to the east.
The native Áali subside mostly on hunting, fishing and gathering, though the coastal tribes are known to attack southern tribes and settlements to obtain goods and slaves.
Geography
Southwestern Áal forms the northern part of the boreal woodlands which covers most of northwestern Adynía. The area along the northern coast is mostly tundra, while to the east the forest gradually gives way to moorland.
The region is generally colder than Záal, making agriculture virtually impossible.
