Upper-Paríon
Sikíronian: Þúmbos-Paríon
Upper-Paríon1 is one of the nine provinces of the Sikíron Empire in central Adynía, and covers the northwestern part of the Meldon Plain. It borders the provinces of Lower-Paríon to the west and Aþrissía to the south, Gráhúlysía to the northeast, Halinkazía and easternmost Záal to the north.
The province's symbol is the eagle, and its main settlement is the provincial capital of Mílesis on the north bank of the river Kir.
Upper-Paríon forms the breadbasket of the empire along with Lower-Paríon, and is also an important producer of enchanted armour, helmets, shields and other protective items. Historically it was also a source for fine textiles made by Tanikaz-Dwarves (descendants of Zameltoníans who ruled Meldon Plain during bronze age), most of whom have since migrated to the imperial capital of Gedirkía.
